Embedded Analytics

SAP S/4 HANA Embedded Analytics is one of the key innovations of S/4. It enables real time operational reporting in your transactional system. There is no ETL (Data Extraction, Transformation, and Loading) and batch processing required, compared to traditional reporting landscapes involving ERP and data warehouse systems. However, don’t consider it as an alternative of a data warehouse system. It serves a supplement to SAP BW/4 HANA or SAP Analytics Cloud. For real-time operational reporting, SAP S/4 HANA uses SAP ABAP CDS Views. These views display content as virtual data models, based on the transaction and master data tables of SAP S/4 HANA. You can consume your models by Fiori tiles and Analysis for Office add-in. As Bisolera, we create these models to prepare some real-time reports such as customer aging report, sales report for particular periods like for last one year, pending orders report etc.
